Female Chuck-Ka Call: The female quack, a two syllable, deep, hoarse chuck-ka....



Northern Shoveler pair, Chuck-Ka and Took-Took calls, April 2, 2011. Vernon Marsh, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The loudest calls on this recording are the female Chuck-Ka call. The male Took-Took calls can be heard between the female calls.
